<p>Have you ever wanted to have that body that you can be proud of? Do you want to confidently walk around the beach with your shirt off? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then what you want is to gain some muscles or to have a muscular or ripped body.</p>
<p>If you want to get a ripped body, then you definitely need to go to the gym and start lifting weights. However, you have to remember that lifting weights alone will not promote muscle growth. There are basically lots of things that you need to consider when you go to the gym and when you want to build muscles. First of all, not all exercise programs are designed for body building. Also, not all exercises are effective in promoting muscle growth.</p>
<p>If you really want to gain muscles, then here are some body building tips that you need to remember.</p>
<p>First of all, body building is basically a three day exercise regime. On the first day, you should try exercising the chest and the triceps. You should at least do four exercises for each muscle group. For the chest, you should do the bench press, inclined barbell press, lying dumbbell fly, and cable crossover. For the triceps, try the kickbacks, barbell triceps presses, close grip bench press, and V-Bar pull down.</p>
<p>For the second day, work your back and biceps. For the back, you can do the bent over barbell row, Romanian dead lift, dumbbell lying row, and cable seated row. For the biceps, you can do the alternate dumbbell curl, standing barbell curl, preacher curl, and cable curl.</p>
<p>For the third day, work on the legs and shoulders. For the legs, you should do the squats, leg press, leg extension, and seated calve raises. For the shoulders, do the barbell behind neck press, military press, Arnold press, and shoulder press.</p>
<p>For every exercise, you should do at least 3 sets with 10 repetitions for each set. You should also remember that in each day, you should exercise your abdominal muscles with sit ups, weighted knee raise, and hanging leg raise. For each exercise, you should do at least 2 sets with 30 repetitions each.</p>
<p>These are samples of the exercises that you should do. You can work out 3 times a week or if you have time, you can work out 6 times a week with Sunday as your rest day.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s usually up to you on how you schedule your workout regime. However, you have to remember that you shouldn’t forget to rest. And, you have to have adequate sleep in order to promote muscle growth. Another thing that you need to remember is not to do the same exercises for two consecutive days.</p>
<p>Also, every two weeks, you might want to change the whole program with whole new sets of different exercises for the same muscle group. You will see that there are quite a lot of exercises that you can do.</p>
<p>Remember these tips and you can be sure that you will be able to promote muscle growth or muscle gain. As you can see, it is quite easy for you to build muscles on your body. All it takes is dedication and proper execution of the exercises. In just a short time, you will see positive results with your body. </p>

In order to be successful at sustaining these changes, it is important to begin the process with the correct mindset in combination with appropriate actions. </p>
<p>First of all, yes, it is wonderful that the New Year has traditionally become a time for individuals to resolve to improve their lives. However, you should not resolve to loose weight or save money simply because the holiday requires you to resolve to something. In fact, resolving to do something simply out of obligation is a recipe for failure. When making your New Year’s resolution it is important that you are committed to making the particular change because you know that it is the right choice for you, and you know that there are significant long-term benefits for doing this. </p>
<p>For example, many individuals who make New Year’s resolutions want to loose weight. Everyone would like their body to be slightly more toned, or drop that tricky 5-8 pounds. Yet, it is important to understand that a desire to look differently is not going to get you as the resolver, very far, if you do not have vested interest in your quest for increased health. </p>
<p>Here are a few tips:</p>
<p>First, set realistic goals for yourself. The leg raise performed in a Captains chair is usually highly effective in building Abs. Six pack fanatics should consider purchasing these equipments or enrolling in gyms having these equipments.</p>
<p>Crunches are the best abs exercise with leg raise being the second best. These exercises can be performed from the comfort of any home. However, to perform leg raise in an effective way a person will need to have a captain&#8217;s chair while for highly challenging crunches the exercise ball is needed. Fitness lovers should also consider purchasing the Abs roller which has been found to reduce tremendously neck strain when used to train the abs.</p>

To build bigger muscle however, you will go the opposite direction and increase calorie intake while undergoing a physically demanding weight training exercises aimed to get you that colossal physique.</p>
<p>Let us focus on muscle building for this particular article. You will need to gain a significant amount of muscle mass and one way to accomplish this is to perform high intensity training for 45 to 75 minutes. Relegate cardiovascular exercises to either once ever week or two. Make the most out of every session by taking only 90 second breaks in between sets.</p>
<p>There are many new exercise equipment and drills out there but the simplest ones are usually the most effective. For legs, you can never go wrong with squats. Change up the positions in executing squats and you can target the different sections of your leg area. Supplement these drills with calf raises and lunges.</p>
<p>There are opposing views as to which are the most effective chest exercises one should use. The bench press is the perennial go-to for men who aspire to get that barrel chest. However, many people who do not exercise this still have amazing results which they have gotten from performing flyes and pullovers. There is no right or wrong answer. You do what you believe will benefit your body the best. The vital factor is challenging your body to go to the next level by increasing weights and varying angles and reps/sets.</p>
<p>Big arms are best serviced by bench dips and barbell curls. As you go further in your training, periodically add on to the weight load you are lifting. Wait and see the difference this will make. Your arms will feel the burn and even outside of training, expect soreness to set in. If they are still painful when you go back to the gym, do not exercise. Rest them instead.</p>
<p>Use pull-ups to exercise your back and military press (sitting and standing) to beef up your shoulders. There are a number of back and shoulder drills which you should also use but these are some of the most effective by far. Modify your workouts every two to six weeks because your body needs to be pushed to its endurance limits for your weight training exercises to work.</p>
<p>For bodybuilding purposes, strong aerobic training is not advisable. That being said, make sure you do not neglect your cardiovascular training by engaging in light running or sports every so often. Your goal maybe to bulk up; but it shouldn&#8217;t be at the expense of your heart&#8217;s health.</p>
<p>Most of all, solidify your weight training exercises by giving it your all every time. You might be able to trick yourself in completing the designated drills with poor form and lackadaisical energy; but do not complain that results are long in coming. Do your best, you won&#8217;t regret it. Not only will you build bigger muscle-you have an opportunity to build your character and personal tenacity as well</p>

<p>With any type of exercise you must concentrate on safety. There are certain exercises where you must be sure to flex elbows and knees so that you avoid injuries which are common when they are not done properly. When you start out perhaps joining a gym may give you an advantage. The instructors monitor the way you do the exercises and may keep you more motivated.</p>
<p>When following the routines in your own home, the equipment you need is minimal. Some resistance bands and dumbbells are all you need. Naturally a gym would offer you the use equipment that could possibly help you reach your goal more quickly. When doing the program you follow basic exercises but these can be modified to keep your interest.</p>
<p>Be aware of terms that are used when weight training. A repetition, or rep, is the term for lifting the weight once. A set, or set of reps, means the amount of repetitions before you rest. So a set may consist of doing three sets and each set is ten reps of an exercise.</p>
<p>When first starting any routine using light weights can help you see how you feel after performing a set. If you cannot do the set in comfort it is probable that the weight is too heavy. Doing this set without any problem may indicate that the weight is not heavy enough and you should increase it. When your goal is strength training then increase the repetitions in each set.</p>
<p>After each set you must give your body time to renew the energy level so you need a resting period. Since some of these exercises exert pressure on the spine, always be aware of your posture. By performing the exercises correctly you can avoid injury. Keeping your back very straight is another way to avoid any injury. The joints should not be overextended in any way. Your shoulders are an area that can easily be injured so when doing exercises where your shoulders are involved, do them with care. In being aware of these details you will enjoy the challenge and be successful.</p>

Besides the obvious fact that you need to weight train to gain muscle mass, there are a number of things that are necessary to build muscle mass.</p>
<p>The most essential part of building muscle is putting on weight. To do so, you are going to have to eat a lot. When I say a lot I mean that you are going to have eat like you’ve been starving for years. The process is called a caloric surplus, and it must be done right. You should try to eat 15-20 times your body weight in calories. I recommend that you eat three meals a day and three snacks a day between meals. To build muscle mass and not put on fat, you are going to need to eat food that have nutritious calories. So eating junk food to fill your daily caloric intake is not going to cut it. </p>
<p>The type of food you need to consume to <strong>build muscle mass</strong> is going to need to contain an abundant supply of protein. There’s a reason that all body builders drink protein shakes every day, it repairs and builds muscle. Here’s the catch though, you won’t get all the protein you need in those shakes alone. To build muscle mass you need to center your diet around protein and focus less on carbohydrates. Your body needs at least one gram of protein for every pound of body weight you have in order to build muscle mass. You must also eat fat, I know this sounds bizarre, but it’s true. For years body builders have been consuming high quantities of fat with their high protein diets. An increase in dietary fat boosts your testosterone levels, and testosterone is the primary hormone in muscle building. The key to building muscle fat from consuming fats is to make sure you don’t eat saturated fats. Saturated fats cause disease and coronary problems, and this is an obvious negative. Although you can’t completely cut out saturated fats, you need to decrease the intake of them.</p>
<p>Another necessity you need to build muscle mass is to drink large amounts of water. Water keeps your muscles hydrated, and allows them to repair more quickly. Water performs the necessary function of dissolving the metabolic wastes produced by protein. Without enough water your body will not be able to rid itself of these wastes, making it impossible to build muscle mass.</p>
