Protein and Calorie Intake Will Improve Muscle Mass

When it comes to the growth of muscle tissue, protein is on the the most important factors to consider in your diet. It is recommended that for every pound you weigh, you need to consume 1-1.5 grams of protein per day. Many people find it easy to consume their daily protein intake by drinking or eating protein powders or supplements. These powders and supplements however can become very expensive. A solid alternative to spending your money on these body building supplements is to simply eat foods that contain large amounts of protein, such as milk, cheese, fish, eggs, and meat.

For the skinny guys out there, try increasing your daily calorie intake. Try to consume at least 3,500 calories per day in your diet. A good source of nutritious, high calorie foods are nuts, lean meats, dried fruits, oatmeal, and eggs. Also, you should avoid fast food as it contains little to no nutritional value because of the way the food is processed and cooked.

Also, eat smaller meals more frequently. Consuming 5-6 meals a day, no more than 4-5 hours apart will make it easier to increase your protein and calorie intake, but also keep your metabolism going strong. Keep in mind, you will need to continue your existing physical workouts to keep in shape while eating all of this food.

Simply changing your diet to fit your muscle building needs will vastly improve your physique and help you reach your goals more quickly. As stated above, if you are looking for some extra protein in your diet, you can try a variety of protein supplements that are available on the right side of this webpage in the sidebar/navigation area.

  2. The writer of menmusclebuilding.com has written a superior article. I got your point and there is nothing to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not disagree with: There’s more that 5 ways to skin a cat, but less than 3 reasons to want to. I will be back.
